junior summer sessions at the centre on Saturdays 10am – 11am throughout the
school holidays starting 27th July to 31st August, totalling the 6 weeks. If

Hi All,

Odette is organising a Charity Quiz night on Friday 5th July in aid of a local charity CDYP which provides football coaching for disadvantaged and special needs children in the Shirley/St James’s Park area.  She has attached the poster with details of the quiz as well as a begging letter from one of the organisers –  this letter is used to ask for donations but it gives you a background to the charity and the worthwhile work it does.

An extra UKCC Level 2 is being run by London and South East at Surrey Sports
Park, Guildford. The dates for the course are 20th and 21st July, 17th and
18th August and 22nd September. All the information including the booking
form can be found on the England Netball website:

Shooting Stars would like to invite anyone interested in trialling for our
Regional Div 2 team. Please also note we are trying to get a second team in div 3

happening on Thursday May 23rd at Oasis Academy – Lordshill, Romsey Road
from 7pm – 10pm.

Dear Coaches,
Eastleigh Borough Council are looking for a Level 2 coach to deliver the
following:

*   5 x 1.5 hour sessions each week from 29th July – 30th August
*   Total hours of delivery = 37.5
*   Sessions to run Monday – Friday, between 0900 – 1800
*   5 locations within the area, predominantly MUGAs in local parks
*   2 sessions each week will be for the 13-16 year olds / 3 sessions for the 8-12s
*   Coaching rate of £25 per hour

Background to Park Sport programme:
Park Sport aims to provide local 8-16 year olds with a positive sporting
experience during the school summer holidays. The project helps to promote
healthy living and ensure that young people are occupied at a time when
there is a marked increase in youth related crime. Park Sport encourages
participants to explore a range of activities providing a positive
alternative to ‘hanging around’.

Hi All,

It is that time of year when Netball South will be holding it’s Annual
General Meeting on the 15th June (Venue TBC but will be in the Aldershot
area and confirmed on the website shortly). Netball South are also hoping to
share the new regional plan with members. The regional Goalden Globes will
follow the AGM.

Netball South have some exciting opportunities to join the regional
management board. Nominations will be open for the following positions:
Chair
Vice chair
Treasurer
Up to 8 general members
