Call all players be aware that on Wednesday 15 April at netball centre athletics is starting at 6.00pm, parking may be difficult. Please allow extra time to get a parking space especially for early game.

A charity netball tournament being held on Saturday 13th June at Southampton Outdoor Sports Centre, with proceeds being split between the National Autistic Society and a Hampshire based charity nominated and voted by the players.

This is my first year organising something like this and am somewhat a novice, so need as much help as possible in terms of advertising.

I’ve seen information about the SNA on the Outdoor Sports Centre website! I was wondering if you were able to help me reach out to teams or players that are signing up with yourselves. As it’s for charity, the more teams that are playing the better! But wanted to check with yourselves if that was okay.

Barton Peveril College is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Netball coach to work with a number of students between the ages of 16 and 18.

The position would require you to plan and deliver one training session per week for an hour and a half and Manage and umpire the 2^nd team on their Wednesday afternoon fixtures.

Hours:

Tuesdays 12:45 – 14:15
Wednesdays 13:00 – 16:00

Hopefully many of you have seen that  the nominations for the 2015 Goalden Globe Awards are OPEN!

The Goalden Globe Awards is a collective celebration, beginning at a regional level and culminating in a glittering national awards evening. There are 11 categories to nominate volunteers for; you will need to decide which category your volunteer is deserving of.

Nominations for Regional Goalden Globe Awards

Each Region will choose a regional winner for 8 of the competitive categories.

The winners will be announced at the Regions Goalden Globe Awards 2015 –

The South Regional Goalden Globes will be held on Friday 12^th June 2015 from 7pm at The Village Hotel in Farnborough. More details will follow on our website.

Regional winners will then be put forward for the National Award, which will be announced at the National Goalden Globe Awards being held on 19 September 2015.

Congratulations to Applemore on getting to the play offs in the MW league. For those who want to support the plays offs are Monday 2nd March starting at 7pm at Southampton Sports Centre.

At the SNA AGM it was announced that we were going to hold a Forum in order to discuss the pros and cons of the 2014 Freddie Cook Sunlit League and how we will proceed next year.
