We would like to thank everyone that took part in Applemore’s ‘How long is a piece of string’ competition. The actual length of the string was 220cm. We had lots of guesses but the closest, and therefore the winner of the fantastic radio, was Tracy O’Connor who guesses 210cm – Well done Tracy!

Following its continued success, the England Netball Taster Rate Affiliation was launched on 1^st April 2012 for “new” and “returning” members for the remainder of 2012 season.

This is a pro rata fee, for “new” and “returning” members who have not been a member of EN within the last three years, i.e. not since 2008/09 season, and will provide affiliation from 1st April 2012 to 31st August 2012 for a fee of £11.70 senior, £7.40 junior

The Taster Rate has been developed specifically to cater for clubs, leagues and other organisations that are running “welcome to netball” schemes, however the rate can be applied to new and returning members joining existing affiliated clubs.
