Just wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone that was involved in our 50th Anniversary Tournament. It was a real success and so lovely to see so many Applemore’s girls, old and new, out to support this day.

Thanks to all that baked cakes, donated raffle prizes and gave up their time to make the day so enjoyable for all. We raised over £1000 which will help subsidise our new kit for next season and also go to help Smile4Wessex a neurological charity and one of Margaret’s chosen causes.

Just a quick reminder to all that the Applemore AGM is this Monday 16th at 7.30pm. It will be held at 11 Bugle Street, Southampton SO14 2AL, there is free parking through the black gates to the left of the building.

The September test series dates and venues have now be confirmed as follows:
. Friday 21st LG Arena, Birmingham
. Monday 24th Echo Arena, Liverpool
. Wednesday 26th EIS Sheffield

Please note that tickets are not yet on sale. I will let you know when they
do become available!!

Also, the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) announced
that this year’s Netball World Series will showcase a new look with new
rules and a new name. The Fast5 Netball World Series was awarded to Netball
New Zealand (NNZ) and the three day tournament will take place at the superb
Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand from 9-11 November 2012. I’ve attached
more information to this email.

JHC have an indoor court booked at St Marys Sports Hall every Monday night 8-9pm.  If anyone would like to arrange a friendly with them please let us know.

The cost is £30.00 for the hour of which they would look for a £15.00 contribution.
